A Cat is NOT a Cat!

When you stroll through the shelters looking for a new cat or kitty most of the times you will not find an indication what breed the cat may be. Any shelter will "guess" what breed a dog may be but cats are usually just found under "domesticated, black and white, long haired". A few shelters will bother to give you a breed guess. Going to a vet is usually no different. They ask for the cat's coat type and color but nowhere does it say: "Breed: ________". Shouldn't cats receive the same kind of recognition?

We have a Blue Russian mix named Cynder. He was a small kitty when we adopted him. He had been returned as being too busy and compassionate. He was exactly what we wanted and he turned out to be a great match for our family. He keeps himself busy when we are not around and when we come home he is right there. He lacks the famous Blue Russian shyness. He will come to anyone who is willing to love him.

RIP Puppy

Our cat Puppy passed away on Monday night, March 22, 2010.
Puppy turned almost 14 years old. She was a Maine Coon mix.
She loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter.
White cotton tail rabbits were her favorite prey.
She will be missed terribly.
Rest in Peace Puppy! We enjoyed having you in our lives!

Meet Coco

Meet Coco, our Siamese mix. We assume she is less than a year old and that she had her first litter when we fostered her last year in April. She had three kittens: Kitkat, MiMi and YuYu. We kept Coco and Kitkat and Mimi and YuYu went to our neighbors down the street. Kitkat is an all black kitty and her two sisters look like mom. Meet Coco!

Welcome to PurrfectKiddies - Cat Sitting Services

PurffectKiddies (tm) is the idea of a now 12 year old girl called Lara. When her mom was setting up her dog hiking business in 2007 she started creating her own business. She thought of the name, the logo and she designed the website. Today PurrfectKiddies is one of the leading cat sitting businesses in Silicon Valley. Professionalism, purrfect care and dedication have brought PurrfectKiddies to where it is today.

Lara is the kitty lady and every year she fosters 20 to 30 kittens and their moms until they are old enough to be adopted out. Every year she helped and saved kittens that would have otherwise been euthanized due to lack of space during the kitten season. Her venture started with 9 years of age and she has been taking care of cats and kittens for the past 3. She has two of her own cats: Coco and Kitkat.
